Push for Skateparks
Push for Skateparks was more than an event—it was a movement. On April 5th, over 300 community members came together in St. Martin, Mississippi, to celebrate skate culture and launch a bold new campaign: building the area’s first county-level skatepark in over 20 years. With youth lessons, thrilling contests, and $1,200 raised for the cause, the day proved that when passion meets purpose, real change rolls in.

From bidding wars over unique artwork to inspiring artist testimonials, the night showcased the powerful connection between art and skateboarding while paving the way for future growth. This success highlights the vibrant talent and passion driving the Gulf Coast skate scene forward.

GSCA and Concerts on the Causeway
Concerts on the Causeway at Yul's Place was a fantastic event for Gulf Coast Skateparks Association. As the featured organization, we raised nearly $500 for our mission to build a free public skatepark, thanks to the generosity of attendees and local vendors. The night was filled with community spirit, great music, local artists, and a pop-up skatepark that brought people of all ages together. Special contributions from Gulf Islands Promotions and Yaya’s significantly boosted our fundraising efforts. We are grateful for the support and excited to continue our journey towards enhancing the skateboarding community along the Gulf Coast.

Biloxi Skate Fest ‘24: Uniting the Community and Honoring Legends
